HONOLULU — October 2, 2008. go! today reported preliminary passenger traffic figures for October 2008 and noted it achieved 63,482 passenger enplanements, an 18.53% increase over the 53,559 passengers carried in the prior October. Last month go! generated 13.33 million available seat miles and 9.43 million revenue passenger miles versus 11.41 million available seat miles and 7.67 million revenue passenger miles in October 2007. go!’s load factor for October 2008 was 70.75%, compared to 67.23% for the same period in 2007 while it recorded an on-time performance rate of 82.1% and a total completion factor of 99.2%.

HONOLULU — September 8, 2008. go! today reported preliminary traffic figures for August 2008 indicating that its operations generated 15.4 million available seat miles, 10.9 million revenue passenger miles and 75,037 passengers, compared with 65,736 in August 2007. Load factor for August 2008 was 70.66%, compared to 71.49% for the same period in 2007. Hawai'i's low fare airline recorded an on-time performance rate of 82%.

In a recent survey completed by more than 4700 go! customers, 89.3% said they thought our iflygo.com website was cool or very cool and 84.2% think our Customer Care and Reservations teams are doing a great job. 77.4% told us they appreciate the ease, simplicity and short walk from the parking lot to our Honolulu terminal, and an overwhelming 89.4% of go! customers rated our friendly flight attendants as great or excellent. Not surprisingly, the highest score of over 90% was reserved for our great low fares, with customers saying they believed fares would skyrocket if go! left the Hawai’i market. That’s why go! is here to stay.

As part of go!’s ongoing support and commitment for communities throughout Hawai’i, go! will donate $1.00 to Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Hawai`i for roundtrips purchased now through September 15, 2008 for travel during the same period. The association helps people with various neuromuscular diseases through research programs, services and education, and go! is proud to give its support for the second successive year.

HONOLULU—go!, Hawaii's Low Fare Airline, today announced on February 17, 2008, in conjunction with Ho’omau 2008, it will officially launch a new website using only the Hawaiian language. This new site is available at www.lelegowau.com (Hawaiian for www.iflygo.com) and will allow passengers to search for and book interisland travel, all in Hawaiian. go! is extremely proud to launch the first airline website and the first e-commerce website to use only the Hawaiian language. The new site is also available by selecting “Hawaiian” from the language drop-down menu at www.iflygo.com.

Ho’omau 2008 is the 10th annual Ho‘omau concert, which benefits all O‘ahu Hawaiian language immersion schools and will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008, at the Waikïkï Shell.

“The creation of this site served as both an exercise and opportunity for the students of Hawai’i’s Hawaiian language immersion schools who assisted in translation and the creation of some new Hawaiian words,” said Jonathan Ornstein, Mesa Air Group Chairman and CEO. “Using Hawaiian in such a modern fashion required growth of the language and has already furthered the goal of making it one of today’s living languages,” he continued.

“In the last 30 years there has been a remarkable resurgence in the training and use of Hawaiian,” said Frank Among, go! VP of eCommerce. “We hope that the production of this site will continue to support interaction and familiarity with the Hawaiian language and also encourage more of the business community to make an effort to keep Hawai’i’s rich culture alive,” he continued.

The site has been created with input from many people including Larry Kimura, noted Hawaiian language author and UH Hilo Professor; Sterling Kini Wong of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs; Manu Boyd, Cultural Director, The Festivals Company; Kaulana Vares, UH Manoa Hawaiian Studies student, as well as Ms. Kaui Keola and her students at Kula Kaiapuni `o Anuenue in Palolo. Student involvement from other Hawaiian language schools will also be sought and the goal is to involve students in the marketing, sales, support and development of the site on an on-going basis. Another local company, Ezrez Software, is being used for the booking engine technology. “As a company with deep roots in Hawai`i, Ezrez has a strong commitment to the community. We are honored to be a part of an initiative that promotes and perpetuates the Hawaiian language,” said Ezrez CEO Tina Fitch.

go Delivery of 15,000 Ti Leaves to Warrior Fans in New Orleans

HONOLULU—go!, Hawai’i's Low Fare Airline, today announced on New Year’s Day it will deliver 15,000 ti leaves to University of Hawaii Warrior fans at the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana. On January 1, 2008, the University of Hawaii Warrior football team will face the University of Georgia Bulldogs in one of five Bowl Championship Series games. The ti leaves, traditionally believed to bestow good luck on its recipients, will be distributed December 31 and January 1 at the New Orleans Marriott at 555 Canal Street by go! and N¬ā Koa, the UH football support club. The ti leaves were collected by go! from growers on Oahu and in Hilo, Hawai’i.

 

 

Beijing, December 22, 2006 Mesa Air Group Inc. (Nasdaq: MESA), today signed a Joint Venture agreement with Shenzhen Airlines to create a Chinese regional airline, the name of which is yet to be determined. The new airline is expected to commence scheduled services within 12 months, initially operating 50-seat regional jets on domestic routes within the People's Republic of China. Focus cities for the new services will include Shenzhen, Beijing, Chongqing, Xiamen, Nanjing, Kunming, Dalian, Shenyang, Xian, Zhengzhou and Nanning.

Shenzhen Airlines was founded in 1992 and currently operates a fleet of 45 new generation A320 and B737 aircraft, flying 100 routes within mainland China and South East Asia. The company has carried nearly 5.3million passengers this year, employs 6300 people and is headquartered in the metropolis of Shenzhen, in southern China's Guangdong Province.

Shenzhen Airlines President Li Kun said, "Today represents an important milestone for our company as through this joint venture we extend our service to many smaller communities throughout the country. Mesa's experience and reputation as a leader in the regional airline industry make it the perfect choice to partner with us in launching this new regional airline. China currently has just 70 regional jets in operation, flying for seven different carriers. The new carrier, Beijing Airlines, expects to have 20 50-seat regional jets in service prior to the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, growing to more than 100 planes within five years, comprising a mix of 50, 70 and 90 seat regional jet aircraft.

Commenting further on the joint venture from Beijing, Ornstein said, "Mesa will initially provide significant technical capability, including pilot, maintenance and operations support and training, as well as the sourcing of aircraft. We see this new partnership as a great opportunity to continue growing our business and further diversify our airline operations. With a population of more than 1.2 billion people, China is the world's fastest growing air travel market. After flying on go! from Hilo to Honolulu, Joyce Murata of Hilo was awarded a go! Vacations package, which includes roundtrip travel for two on go! and two nights accommodation at a deluxe hotel of her choice on Oahu, Kauai, Maui or the Big Island. On arrival in Honolulu, Murata was greeted by members of go!'s team: Joe Bock, Chief Marketing Officer; CD Lauritsen, Chief Operating Officer; and Bette Brumlow, Regional Stations Manager.

 

This is great, I was telling Bette on the flight over that the biggest thing I ever won was a Big Mac from McDonald's," said Murata. "This is kind of like all a shock to me and I don't think it's really sunk in yet," she added.

Murata was traveling to Honolulu to visit her husband who commutes to Honolulu from Hilo weekly for his job. Murata says she has already booked his flights on go! for the rest of this year. "I have to say the go! staff and the Hilo crew have been amazing. If there are any problems we can't fix on our own we just give them a call and they're very accommodating," said Murata.

HONOLULU, September 14, 2006 - go!, the interisland Hawaii division of Mesa Air Group Inc, (Nasdaq:MESA) and Mokulele Airlines today entered into a memorandum of understanding to establish a code share agreement to service new Hawaii destinations.

The new services will fly under the go!Express brand and customers will be able to earn valuable frequent flyer miles on all go! flights.

Mokulele Airlines was recently granted authority from the Department of Transportation to provide scheduled service. It will operate a brand new fleet of Cessna Grand Caravan 208B aircraft in the go!Express livery to Kapalua, Lanai and Molokai from Honolulu. It will complement existing service provided by go! to Lihue, Kahului, Kona and Hilo. go!Express will also offer other non-stop services between neighbor islands.
