HONOLULU- go!, the inter-island Hawaii division of Mesa Air Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: MESA), today celebrated its 439,000th passenger with a fun-filled ceremony in mid-flight with Miss Hawaii 2007, Chanel Wise, serving as master of the ceremony. The flight originating from Kahului, Maui to Honolulu started off as usual, but then Miss Hawaii came forward along with go! Chief Marketing Officer, Joe Bock to announce there was a special customer on board. The recipient, Chad Covey, won four round trip tickets on go! and a $1,000 shopping spree at the Ala Moana Center. Covey exclaimed afterward, “I’ve never won anything!” This was an especially good return flight to Oahu for Covey due to the purpose of his original flight earlier in the day – to pay for a ticket he had received on Maui.
