HONOLULU — October 2, 2008. go! today reported preliminary passenger traffic of 58,179 for September 2008, a 10.7% increase over the 52,552 passengers carried in the prior September. In September 2008, go! generated 13.17 million available seat miles and 8.52 million revenue passenger miles versus 11.22 million available seat miles and 7.48 million revenue passenger miles in September 2007. The load factor for September 2008 was 65.15%, compared to 66.74% for the same period in 2007. Hawai'i's low fare airline recorded an on-time performance rate of 90.9% and a total completion factor of 100%.

“We are pleased to have had a strong September given the current economic backdrop,” said Mesa Air Group Chairman and CEO Jonathan Ornstein. “While we are unable to control certain aspects of our business such as fuel costs, we are proud to say go! successfully operated every single scheduled flight in September and as a result, had the best operational month since inception. We appreciate the hard work of our team at go!, as well as our ground handlers and customer service agents from Swissport and United for contributing to this great operational performance,” Mr. Ornstein added.

go! Celebrates its 1,000,000th Passenger

HONOLULU—go!, Hawai’i's Low Fare Airline, today flew its 1,000,000th passenger and marked the milestone with a vibrant celebration at Honolulu International Airport. Hawai’i’s rising golf star, Tadd Fujikawa, joined go! customers and employees as the Master of Ceremonies. This afternoon the millionth passenger was named onboard go! ’s 12:30pm flight from Kona to Honolulu.

The recipient, Queenie Ventura Dowsett, of Waimea, Hawai’i, was spectacularly greeted on arrival in Honolulu with a gift of one million go!Miles and a $200 gift certificate to the restaurant of her choice. Queenie remarked afterward, “I love go!, competition is good for Hawai’i and we need go! here.” Queenie, a loyal go! customer, is a long time resident and rancher from the Big Island and was in Honolulu to attend the International Waikiki Hula Conference.

go! also announced it has begun its “Thanks a Million!” sale in celebration of its 1,000,000th passenger. Starting Wednesday, November 14, 2007 go! began offering one-way fares as low as $29*. The latest special fare from Hawaii’s interisland market leader is valid for travel from Monday, November 19, 2007 through January 31, 2008, excluding certain holiday blackout dates. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm Hawaii Standard Time, on Friday, November 16, 2007. These tickets are nonrefundable and changes can be made for a fee of $20 plus any applicable difference in airfare.

“Flying 1,000,000 passengers in such a short period of time is a testament to the need in Hawai’i for high quality, low cost, interisland transportation,” said Joe Bock, go! Chief Marketing Officer. “In addition to our five primary markets, we’ve recently added the islands of Moloka’i and Lana’i to our go! go! recently extended its route network with the launch of go!Express, operated under a code share agreement with Hawaii-based Mokulele Airlines. The new service adds Lana’i City, Lana’i, Kapalua, Maui and Ho’olehua, Moloka’i to the list of Hawai’i communities with access to go!’s market-leading low fares.
