HONOLULU – go! today announced it has concluded a code share agreement with Hawaii Island Air Inc. (dba Island Air). Effective March 25, 2009 and available for immediate travel, Mesa's independent Hawai'i operation, dba go!, will begin marketing services to be flown by Island Air between Kahului, Maui and Hilo, the Big Island and Lihu'e, Kaua'i; Honolulu and Kapalua, Maui; Honolulu and Lana'i; Honolulu and Moloka'i; Kahului, and Kona, the Big Island and between Kahului and Moloka'i. The new services will be available through go!'s website at iflygo.com or by calling 1-888-iflygo2 and also Island Air's website at islandair.com or by calling 808-484-2222 (O'ahu) and 800-652-6541 (neighbor islands and N. America).

Commenting on the agreement, Mesa Air Group Chairman and CEO Jonathan Ornstein said, "We are delighted to be working with Island Air which has a long tradition of high quality service in the islands. This code share agreement will allow go! to extend its network and offer the people of Hawai'i an even greater choice for inter-island travel." HONOLULU- go!, Hawaii's Low Fare Airline, today celebrated its 2,000,000th passenger with a champagne flight from Hilo to Honolulu.

go! Celebrates 2 Millionth Passenger

In the spirit of go!'s recent "Everyone's a Winner" campaign, all passengers on the flight received lei, special celebration gift bags and complimentary round trip tickets. Excitement was maintained throughout the flight with everyone learning the name of the 2 millionth passenger only after arrival in Honolulu. The lucky one in 2,000,000, Lora Reeve of Hilo, Hawai'i was delighted to learn she was the recipient of unlimited complimentary travel on go! for a whole year.

 

"I am so excited to have won! It's huge benefit for me because I commute from Hilo to teach and attend graduate school at UH Manoa. I am very grateful to go! for this award. I already fly go! but this makes flying even better," said Reeve.

Honolulu – go! today reported preliminary traffic figures for February 2009 and noted it achieved 56,052 passenger enplanements, an 11.90% increase over the 50,090 passengers carried in February 2008. Last month go! generated 12.00 million available seat miles and 7.95 million revenue passenger miles versus 10.97 million available seat miles and 7.23 million revenue passenger miles in February 2008. go!’s load factor for February 2009 was 66.23% compared to 65.92% for the same period in 2008.

Honolulu – go! today reported preliminary traffic figures for January 2009 and noted it achieved 58,216 passenger enplanements, a 33.03% increase over the 43,763 passengers carried in January 2008. Last month go! generated 13.28 million available seat miles and 8.58 million revenue passenger miles versus 11.02 million available seat miles and 6.43 million revenue passenger miles in January 2008. go!’s load factor for January 2009 was 64.6% compared to 58.4% for the same period in 2008.
